3M IJ180Cv3 Vehicle Wrap Vinyl: Buying Guide

AV 11 is 3M Controltac IJ180Cv3, a 2 mil cast vehicle wrap film with Comply v3 adhesive. Hidden air release channels let air escape for a fast, bubble free install, and the film can be slid and repositioned while you work. Cast vinyl has low memory and doesn't shrink, so it conforms to deep channels, concave areas and complex curves.

Every wrap is eco-solvent printed and finished with 3M Scotchcal 8518 gloss overlaminate, a 2 mil film that adds gloss and extra UV and scratch protection. It is long term durable, removable and comes up to 52" high by 150' wide.

Artwork & file setup

  • Upload a JPEG or a single-page PDF, up to 300 MB, built at the exact size you order. Artwork at a different size is scaled to fit.
  • Use CMYK color, convert Pantone and spot colors to CMYK, and outline your fonts. Raster images need 150 dpi at full size.
  • Leave off crop marks and bleed. Double sided items take one file per side unless the template says otherwise.

Care & handling

Hand wash the wrap with a mild car wash soap and a soft sponge. Keep pressure washers well away from edges and seams, and clean off fuel, bird droppings and tree sap as soon as you can.

No. We print and laminate the wrap film and ship it to you, ready for your wrap installer.
