Dry Erase Aluminum Sandwich Board: Buying Guide

A dry erase aluminum sandwich board gives you a printed, branded sign that you can still write on. Your design is UV printed onto adhesive vinyl, finished with a gloss dry erase coating and mounted on a 1/8" aluminum composite panel, so daily specials, schedules and notes wipe clean while the printed graphics stay put.

Aluminum is waterproof and UV safe, so the board works inside or out for years. It is cut to any size from 3" x 4" up to 48" x 96", single or double sided. Sizes over 46" x 38" (or 48" x 30") are too big to ship by parcel, so call 866-436-2101 before ordering one.

Artwork & file setup

  • Upload a JPEG or a single-page PDF, up to 300 MB, built at the exact size you order. Artwork at a different size is scaled to fit.
  • Use CMYK color, convert Pantone and spot colors to CMYK, and outline your fonts. Raster images need 150 dpi at full size.
  • Leave off crop marks and bleed. Double sided items take one file per side unless the template says otherwise.

Care & handling

Write with standard dry erase markers and wipe them off with a dry eraser or soft cloth. Don’t use permanent markers, abrasive pads or solvents, which can damage the dry erase coating.

Can I leave it outdoors?

Yes. Anything in your artwork is printed under the dry erase coating, so lines, logos and headings stay while the writing wipes off.

When will my order ship?

Order and approve your artwork by 12 pm Pacific time and it ships the same business day. By 4 pm, it ships the next business day; after 4 pm, allow one more business day. Then it travels by the shipping speed you choose at checkout.
