Square Flag Base: Buying Guide

The square base is the heaviest base we offer for feather, teardrop and rectangle flags. It is powder coated iron, 16" x 16" and 4" high, and weighs 22 lb, so it keeps a flag standing on hard surfaces without stakes or extra ballast.

It comes in two pieces, the square plate and the pole connector. The low, flat profile sits close to the ground and is easy to step around, which makes it a good fit for sidewalks, entrances and indoor floors.

Square base or cross base?

The square base is heavier (22 lb vs 6.73 lb) and more stable on its own. The cross base is lighter and folds flat for travel.

Can I add a water bag?

Yes. The water bag fits over both the square base and the cross base.

Does it fit in the flag carrying bag?

No. The square base ships and stores separately from the flag carrying bag.

When will my order ship?
