Canvas Wrap Prints: Buying Guide

A canvas wrap turns a photo, logo or artwork into a finished piece of wall art. We print at high resolution on white semi-gloss artist canvas, then hand wrap it around an MDF stretcher frame so the image continues around the edges. No extra frame is needed.

Every canvas ships with a free hanging kit, so it is ready for the wall when it arrives. Use it for family photos and gifts, or for decor in offices, waiting rooms, restaurants and retail stores.

Artwork & file setup

  • Upload a JPEG or a single-page PDF, up to 300 MB, built at the exact size you order. Artwork at a different size is scaled to fit.
  • Use CMYK color, convert Pantone and spot colors to CMYK, and outline your fonts. Raster images need 150 dpi at full size.
  • Leave off crop marks and bleed. Double sided items take one file per side unless the template says otherwise.
  • A 1.5" gallery wrap with the “fold” edge needs 1.75" of extra image on each side. For example, send 15.5" x 15.5" artwork for a 12" x 12" canvas.
  • When you use a template below, keep its artboard size and guidelines, design on the “Artwork” layer, and delete guide layers when it tells you to.
Canvas wrap edge options: black, white, folded and mirrored edges Example: Submit 15.5” x 15.5” artwork for 12” x 12” Gallery Canvas Wrap (1.5”).

Care & handling

Hang wall art away from direct sun and heat to keep colors bright. Dust it with a dry microfiber cloth; do not use water or household cleaners on the print.

Canvas Wrap Prints questions & answers

What resolution should my photo be?

About 150 dpi at the final print size is enough for large format canvas. Phone photos usually print well at smaller sizes.

Does it come ready to hang?

Yes. A hanging accessory kit is included with every canvas wrap.

What is the difference from a framed print?

A canvas wrap has a textured canvas surface stretched over the frame with no border. A framed print puts a flat print inside a wood-style frame.

When will my order ship?

Order and approve your artwork by 12 pm Pacific time and it ships the same business day. By 4 pm, it ships the next business day; after 4 pm, allow one more business day. Then it travels by the shipping speed you choose at checkout.
