X-Stand Banner: Buying Guide

The X-stand is our most affordable banner stand. Its aluminum and fiberglass frame forms an X behind the graphic, and the banner hooks on by its grommets. That makes it the easiest stand for swapping graphics: unhook one banner and hook on the next.

Choose a 24" x 63" or 32" x 71" graphic, printed on 13 oz matte vinyl or 14 mil double white popup material. Double white popup has a brighter white and stays flat at the edges. A nylon carry bag is included.

Production & shipping

  • Order and approve your artwork by 12 pm Pacific time and it ships the same business day. By 4 pm, it ships the next business day; after 4 pm, allow one more business day. Orders of more than 100 pieces need two extra business days.
  • Printed to order in Renton, Washington, and shipped to all 50 states.
  • At checkout, choose standard shipping (3–6 business days) from $18, 3-day, 2-day or overnight delivery. Orders of $100 or more ship free on the standard schedule.
  • Pickup isn’t available; every order ships to you. See shipping & returns for details.

Artwork & file setup

  • Upload a JPEG or a single-page PDF, up to 300 MB, built at the exact size you order. Artwork at a different size is scaled to fit.
  • Use CMYK color, convert Pantone and spot colors to CMYK, and outline your fonts. Raster images need 150 dpi at full size.
  • Leave off crop marks and bleed. Double sided items take one file per side unless the template says otherwise.

Care & handling

Retract or fold the stand and pack it in its carry bag after each use. Keep the graphic dry and wipe it with a soft, damp cloth if it gets marked.

Which material should I choose?

We recommend 14 mil double white popup: brighter colors and edges that won’t curl. 13 oz matte vinyl is the lower-cost, more flexible option.

Can I buy replacement graphics?

Yes. Graphics attach with grommets, so a new print hooks onto the same stand in seconds. Order the graphic only option.

How does it compare to a retractable stand?

An X-stand costs less and makes graphic swaps easy. A retractable stand rolls the banner into its base for faster setup and better protection on the road.

How does the banner attach?

The graphic has a grommet in each corner that hooks onto the ends of the X frame, which keeps it pulled flat.

When will my order ship?

Order and approve your artwork by 12 pm Pacific time and it ships the same business day. By 4 pm, it ships the next business day; after 4 pm, allow one more business day. Then it travels by the shipping speed you choose at checkout.
