Pole Banner Set: Buying Guide

Pole banners, also called light pole or street pole banners, hang from street lights and posts to brand a whole street, campus or shopping center. Each banner is UV printed front and back on one piece of 18 oz blockout vinyl, so both sides read correctly and light doesn’t show through.

Choose 18", 24" or 30" wide and any height from 24" to 96". Banners have double-stitched 2" pole pockets with no hem, a brass grommet at each corner seam, and optional wind slits. The hardware kit adds 2 fiberglass pole arms, 2 brackets and steel bands for installation.

  • Order and approve your artwork by 12 pm Pacific time and it ships the same business day. By 4 pm, it ships the next business day; after 4 pm, allow one more business day. Orders of more than 100 pieces need two extra business days.
  • Printed to order in Renton, Washington, and shipped to all 50 states.
  • At checkout, choose standard shipping (3–6 business days) from $18, 3-day, 2-day or overnight delivery. Orders of $100 or more ship free on the standard schedule.

Artwork & file setup

  • Upload a JPEG or a single-page PDF, up to 300 MB, built at the exact size you order. Artwork at a different size is scaled to fit.
  • Use CMYK color, convert Pantone and spot colors to CMYK, and outline your fonts. Raster images need 150 dpi at full size.
  • Leave off crop marks and bleed. Double sided items take one file per side unless the template says otherwise.

Care & handling

Clean the print with mild soap, water and a soft cloth, and skip solvents and pressure washers. Let the banner dry fully before you store it, then roll it with the printed side facing out and keep it somewhere dry. Using every grommet when you hang it spreads the load and helps prevent tears.

Are they double sided?

Yes. Each banner is one piece of blockout vinyl printed on both sides.

Do I need the hardware kit?

Choose banner and hardware if your poles don’t have arms yet. Choose banner only if you are replacing banners on existing brackets.

Should I add wind slits?

Consider them for exposed, windy locations; they let some air pass through to reduce strain on the brackets.

How should I hang a pole banner?

Slide the pole pockets onto the bracket arms and use all four grommets to tie off the corners, which keeps the banner from tearing in wind.

When will my order ship?

Order and approve your artwork by 12 pm Pacific time and it ships the same business day. By 4 pm, it ships the next business day; after 4 pm, allow one more business day. Then it travels by the shipping speed you choose at checkout.
